Construction starts in Victoria in development partnership with Lendlease
We are excited to announce that construction of our first medium density residential development in Victoria, YoYo Terrace Living at Aurora is now underway.
Our development site is located in Wollert just 25kms North of the Melbourne CBD, benefiting from an impressive view toward the city skyline and already established neighbourhood and surrounding amenity offered in the Lendlease masterplan community of Aurora.
Despite the challenging environment that the COVID-19 pandemic has presented to the housing and construction industry, Rivergum Homes have now completed site preparation and have commenced pouring slabs for the first homes in the project. We are looking forward to continue through the build program to deliver 72 Torrens title terrace homes throughout 2021 and into 2022.
YoYo Terrace living is now 90% sold, with the final release of park fronting homes now selling at a fixed price of $399,000.
The construction commencement of this joint venture project signifies an important milestone between Rivergum Homes and Lendlease communities, as we aim to provide high quality affordable housing options to Victorians.
