Rivergum climbs to #2 homebuilder in South Australia in HIA Housing 100 Report 2024/25
Rivergum has been recognised as South Australia’s second largest homebuilder in the Housing Industry Association’s HIA Housing 100 Report 2024/25, climbing from third place last year.
The report, released this week, ranks the nation’s most active builders by number of new starts. Rivergum recorded 476 new home starts in South Australia over the last financial year, and continues to hold its national position as fourth largest semi-detached dwelling builder.
This milestone reinforces Rivergum’s position as the state’s largest builder of medium-density residences, with a clear focus on delivering affordable, high-quality solutions at scale.
“This increase reflects the trust South Australians and our development partners place in Rivergum,” said Founder and Managing Director Victor Said. “We’re proud to be part of the solution to the housing challenge, delivering quality homes that represent real value for our customers.”
General Manager Tony Scott added: “Our team has worked hard to build a reputation for quality and consistency. Medium-density homes allow us to deliver exceptional value at scale without ever compromising on design or standards — and that’s why developers and government partners continue to choose Rivergum.”
Rivergum has over 1,000 new residences in its pipeline. The company has transitioned its full focus to medium-density projects, working alongside tier one developers, government and on Rivergum’s own developments
