A new chapter for Rivergum
Rivergum marks next chapter with move to Bowden headquarters
Rivergum has officially made the move to a new purpose-built head office in Bowden, marking a significant milestone in the company’s 32-year history and positioning the business for its next phase of growth.
The relocation reflects Rivergum’s continued evolution following its strategic transition into full-time medium-density project delivery, with the new single-floor workspace designed to better support collaboration, efficiency, and alignment across teams.
Rivergum Founder & Managing Director Victor Said said the move to Bowden represents both a celebration of the company’s legacy and a clear step toward its future. “This year marks 32 years since we started building transportable homes with a small team and a clear ambition,” Victor said.
“To see Rivergum evolve into one of South Australia’s leading medium-density builders is something I’m incredibly proud of. That progress has been shaped by the people in this business, their care, commitment, and the way they approach their work each day.”
Located on the city fringe, Bowden offers a highly connected and progressive environment that aligns with Rivergum’s future direction. The precinct’s accessibility, proximity to the CBD, and diverse mix of retail, dining, and community spaces provide an ideal setting for both team engagement and operational performance.
“Bowden represents an exciting next chapter for Rivergum,” Victor said. “It allows us to better align our workspace with our renewed business focus while placing us within a vibrant, forward-thinking community that reflects the next phase of our growth.”
The new head office has been designed to foster a more collaborative and dynamic workplace culture, supporting stronger connections between teams, partners, and clients. As the business continues to scale, the space will play a key role in enabling more integrated ways of working and enhancing overall delivery capability.
“Our move to Bowden represents more than a change of address,” Victor said. “It’s a step forward in how we work together. It allows us to be more connected, more efficient, and better equipped for what’s ahead.”
Rivergum expects to be fully operational in its new Bowden headquarters by mid-year, with final stages of the internal fit-out progressing strongly.
“As we settle into our new home, I feel confident about what the future holds,” Victor said. “We’ve built something enduring, something that puts us in a powerful position to keep growing and evolving, while continuing to deliver housing outcomes we can all be proud of.”
