We’re here to help rebuild homes at Kangaroo Island

Since establishing operations on Kangaroo Island 15 years ago, Rivergum Homes has focused its home building activities on the eastern end of the island but are extending the offering to assist residents of the central and western end of the island in re-establishing their homes.

The sooner we are able to get people back into their own homes, the sooner life will return to its ‘new normal’ for families displaced and otherwise traumatised by the fire tragedy.

While we recognise the task is not an easy one, our extensive range of homes are specifically designed for life on the coast and in the country.

Our Coastal & Country range for Kangaroo Island comprises of 20 single and double-storey home designs with 65 floorplan variations and families are able to experience the quality of build we offer right there on the island at our permanent base and display home at Emu Bay, KI.

Display home is now open Thursday 5.30pm- 6.30pm and Sunday 2-3pm, or by appointment 7 days. Contact Michael Barrett (Century 21 on the island) on 0427 727 333 to book.

We have also established an internal Kangaroo Island Coordination Team whose role would include understanding and navigating the housing challenges ahead and working with relevant authorities, our contractors and suppliers to make sure your re-building process is as smooth as possible.
