Each entry must highlight the versatility and aesthetic appeal of COLORBOND® steel while incorporating other elements that evoke a strong visual narrative. Judged by leading design experts, this competition is a showcase of talent across Australia’s design and building industries.

Joelle’s winning flatlay draws inspiration from the early 1900s, blending historical charm with a modern aesthetic. A standout feature of her design is a restored 1910 vintage phone that once belonged to her late father, adding a deeply personal and emotional touch to the composition. This sentimental centerpiece harmoniously complements COLORBOND® steel colours, including Cottage Green, Manor Red, and Deep Ocean, showcasing their ability to enhance and enrich timeless design themes.
